Prior to EFD, we did flow calculations analytically, mostly on highly simplified models.
What were the most important reasons for purchasing EFD.Lab?
EFD makes is possible for us to get basic understanding of flow behaviour of complex geometries
without deep fundamental knowledge of finite element methods.

Which functions are the most useful?
With EFD, we can check the effects of design variants quite quickly and effectively, without needing a full blast test
to obtain measurements. Especially heat transfer and airflow are computed.
