Roland Feldhinkel, Managing Director

Roland is one of the original founders of the company and has served as a driving
force in defining the company’s mission as a pioneer in the field of Engineering
Fluid Dynamics (EFD). During the past 15 years in the CAD/CAE industry, he has
gained tremendous insight into customer needs and has helped many companies optimise
their product development processes. Roland has a Master´s degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Prior to NIKA, Roland served as a Managing Director at SolidTeam GmbH, a German CAD/CAE solution
provider.
Gary Carter, Chief Executive Officer
Hampton Court, United Kingdom
Gary Carter aged 45, is the Chief Executive Officer. He read Mathematics at Leeds University followed by a PhD in
Computational Fluid Dynamics. Following industry experience with Rolls-Royce, he moved into the world of engineering
simulation software where he spent seventeen years working with Aveva, PDA Engineering, MSC Software and most recently
as European Vice President for ANSYS. He joined Flomerics in January 2005 and was appointed as CEO in September 2005.
Chris Ogle, Finance Director and Company Secretary
Hampton Court, United Kingdom
Chris Ogle, aged 43, is the Finance Director and Company Secretary. He read Economic History at Durham University
and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in London. Before joining Flomerics in 1999
he was Company Secretary of the Telstar Entertainment Group plc and Group Management Accountant of WPP Group plc.
He is a member of the QCA Accounting Standards Committee.
Dr. Ivo Weinhold, Manager, CFD Products
Frankfurt, Germany
Ivo is responsible for the design of all software products developed by NIKA and is the
main “brain” behind NIKA’s product philosophy. He has an extensive background in the field
of computational fluid dynamics. Prior to joining NIKA as a co-founder, Ivo held numerous
support and presales positions at Fluid Dynamics International and Fluent. Ivo has a Master’s
degree in mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. in Medical
Sciences.
Dr. Alexander Sobatchkin, Head of Development
Moscow, Russia
As one of the original company founders, Alexander took the key role in applying
the principles of mainstream engineering simulation to NIKA´s EFD software architectures.
He is the Managing Director of NIKA Software in Russia and as such responsible for the Nika
Development Team and all relating development activities. Alexander began his professional
career in the aerospace industry as a specialist in fluid dynamics and heat transfer more than
20 years ago. Alexander has a Master's degree in Aeromechanics and Heat Transfer in addition
to a Ph.D. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Before joining Nika, Alexander served as
the Managing Director of Computational Aerodynamics Systems Co., a Russian CFD software developer.
