~ Webinars and Seminars
|

|
Flomerics holds regularly scheduled seminars and short webinar sessions.
Our webinars are recommended for the mechanical design engineer or engineering manager who is interested
in learning how to use CAD integrated fluid simulation to create best-in-class designs.
The short session is technical in nature.
Our seminars are also recommended for mechanical design engineers who’d like hands-on experience with EFD.

“We have been using traditional Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software to analyze our
Autodesk Inventor solid models for the last couple of years. But we found the analysis
process too time consuming because our software was unable to meet the rigorous demands
of our development timescale. EFD.Lab on the other hand matches our needs for shortened
design time and ease-of-use”
Dr. Zafer Ayaz, Naval Architect

“We selected EFD.V5 because it was the most accessible Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software for engineers working with CATIA V5.
Analysis results are easily generated and also improve communication between different groups within the company”
Scott Boham, Mechanical Design Engineer for Sharp Laboratories Europe

“We are very pleased that Flomerics is providing their EFD fluid dynamics simulation software
free of charge to the F1 in Schools project. This will enable students to analyze and optimize
the aerodynamics of their designs and will certainly give Canadian schools an advantage in competitions.”
Paul Riddell, Director of Development, TeamWork Canada Inc.

“CAD-embedded CFD made it possible to determine simulation results nearly as fast as we changed the design.
The result is that we were able to improve the flow rate of our new valve by 15% while eliminating about 50
prototypes and reducing time to market by 4 months.”
Daniel Gaisbacher, Project Manager for VENTREX Automotive GmbH

How do you view EFD.Lab compared to other flow programs in the market?
“Excellent value for money; easy to operate and ideal for our applications
(the medium is water and therefore almost incompressible), it is ideal for workstations that are
working on more than just flow simulations (feasibility, initial estimates etc.).”

Flomerics Releases Version 8 of EFD Engineering Fluid Dynamics Analysis Software

Flomerics has released the latest version of its popular Engineering Fluid Dynamics (EFD) analysis software suite.
EFD Version 8 offers improved CAD data handling and support, new physical models and advanced visualization.
The new features further increase user ability to solve complex real-world problems and share the results with
interested parties down- or upstream.
