EFD.V5 is a full-featured general purpose fluid flow and heat transfer analysis software
specifically developed to work inside CATIA V5. It combines all simulation steps including model definition,
mesh generation, solving, and postprocessing all in one single workbench. Since EFD.V5 is seamlessly integrated
with the CATIA V5 user interface and is fully embedded into its feature tree, EFD.V5 uses directly CATIA V5 CAD data
for model definition, fully automatic mesh generation and solving. EFD.V5’s sophisticated physical models are prepared
to simulate a wide range of engineering tasks, from creeping non-Newtonian flows to supersonic gas flows with high mach numbers.
